How to Thaw and Heat Broth (Safely + Maintain Quality)

The broth can last 7 days if stored in the chiller and 3-6 months when frozen.

Note: If you plan to freeze broth delivered in a glass bottle, it has to be transferred to a different container.

    1.
From Freezer → Chiller (Preferred Method)

Total time: 12–24 hours depending on your chiller temperature
Keep the broth sealed in its container (don’t open yet).
Place it on a tray or bowl to catch condensation.
Transfer directly to the chiller (2–4°C).
Leave to thaw overnight or up to 24 hours until completely soft.

✔ Best for flavor, texture, and food safety.
✔ No risk of bacterial growth.

    2. Faster Method (If Needed)

From Freezer → Room Temp for 20–30 mins → Chiller
Pull out from freezer and let sit at room temp 20–30 minutes max just to loosen the ice block.
Transfer to the chiller to continue thawing slowly.

✔ Still safe, faster start, but don’t leave out too long.

    3. Never Do This

✘ Don’t thaw on the counter for hours
✘ Don’t thaw with hot water
    ✘ Don’t re-freeze after fully thawed

    Storage After Thawing

Keep in the chiller up to 5–7 days (if sealed and handled properly).
Once opened, consume within 3–4 days.

    Heating instructions
